Men's Club

The Men's Club of the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington was formed about 1985. The club meets once a month (except for June, July, and August) for breakfast, for fellowship, to discuss service projects, and to share in a brief meditation.

The purpose of the club is to bring the men of our church together in a Christian setting where they can grow spiritually through their associations with each other and by contributing to the betterment of the community and their church through various service projects.

An annual spaghetti dinner is the Men's Club's primary fund-raiser. This event gives an opportunity for the men to work together on a worthwhile project, provides the community a good meal and a time for fellowship, and generates donations that are used for community and church missions.

The Men's Club is open to all the men of the church. No invitation is required. The club meets on the second Sunday of the month, with breakfast served at 7:00 a.m.
